📌 Platform Usage Rules
- All users must be at least 18 years old or act through a legal guardian.
- One PAN / GSTIN must correspond to only one UMCA account.
- All submitted documents must be genuine, current, and self-attested where required.
- You must not share your account credentials with any other person or entity.
- Service requests must be made with adequate lead time before statutory deadlines.
- UMCA reserves the right to decline services that may violate applicable law.
📄 Document Standards
All documents uploaded to our platform must meet the following requirements:
- File format: PDF, JPG, PNG (max 10 MB per file).
- Documents must be legible, complete, and free from tampering or alterations.
- PAN card, Aadhaar, and Form 16 must be the most recent versions.
- Bank statements must cover the full relevant financial year.
- Password-protected documents must be shared with the unlock password via secure channel.
📎 Uploading fake or altered documents is a criminal offence under the Indian Penal
Code and IT Act. UMCA will report any such instances to the appropriate authorities.
ITR Filing Guidelines
🧾 Documents Required for ITR
- Salaried individuals: PAN, Aadhaar, Form 16 (Part A and B), bank statements,
investment proofs (80C/80D).
- Business/Profession: P&L statement, balance sheet, TDS certificates (Form 26AS),
GST returns.
- Capital Gains: Purchase/sale deeds, DMAT statements, mutual fund statements.
- House Property: Rental income details, home loan interest certificate.
- Foreign Income: DTAA details, foreign bank account details, overseas income proofs.

- Verify Form 26AS before filing.

- E-verify your ITR within 30 days.

GST Compliance Rules
🏛️ GST Registration Rules
- Mandatory registration if annual turnover exceeds ₹40 lakhs (goods) or ₹20 lakhs (services).
- Threshold is ₹10 lakhs for special category states.
- Inter-state supply requires mandatory registration regardless of turnover.
- E-commerce operators and suppliers through e-commerce must mandatorily register.
- Casual taxable persons and non-resident taxable persons must register before commencing business.

Trademark Guidelines
™️ Trademark Filing Rules
- Trademark applications must be filed in the correct class (there are 45 classes under the Nice
Classification).
- The mark must be distinctive and not descriptive of the goods/services.
- Marks that are offensive, deceptive, or identical to well-known marks will be refused.
- Applicant's identity (individual, company, LLP) must match KYC documents exactly.
- Once filed, applications typically take 18–24 months for registration under normal proceedings.
🔍 UMCA conducts a preliminary trademark search before filing. However, a clear search
does not guarantee registration — the Trademark Registry has final discretion.
User Conduct Rules
🚨 Strictly Prohibited Activities
- Submitting forged, fabricated, or tampered documents.
- Using our platform to file returns for a third party without proper authorisation.
- Attempting to hack, scrape, or overload our platform servers.
- Misrepresenting your identity or the nature of your business.
- Using UMCA services to facilitate tax evasion or money laundering.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing our staff or CA partners.
🚫 Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture
of fees paid, and may be reported to the relevant regulatory authorities including the Income Tax
Department or GST Council.
